Vilene Bondaweb fusible fabric web used for permanently heat bonding fabrics together, for strengthening or stiffening fabrics, or for simply holding applique designs in place while you sew. It is paper backed and easy to use.
For use in corsetry, to bond fashion fabric to coutil in order to avoid the process of roll pinning and flat lining. In other words, it's a bit easier if you want to use fashion fabric in one layer.
Also for use in craft projects and dressmaking, it can fuse fabric, paper, wood, cardboard, felt and many other things. I once made a fabric covered mirror (frame) using this webbing - it worked a treat!
To use (fabric): Iron the sticky side of the webbing directly onto the wrong side of your fabric through the paper cover. When that is bonded to the fabric, peel off the paper backing, apply the second fabric, wrong side down, and press into place.
