This elastic which is made specifically for bra and knicker making has a plush (soft and fuzzy) backing which goes agains the skin for comfort.  It can be used for any other application where elastic sits next to the skin because obviously it is nice and comfortable.

This particular elastic is good to use in partnership with powernet on the bra band or for use in knickers.  There is different, stronger elastic for the straps.
