Synthetic Whalebone 12mm

12mm wide synthetic whalebone for corsetry and costume.   This plastic boning is 1.5mm thick and will provide a firm support where it is used.

It works well in corsetry and dress making where you need many bones without weight.  For example in 17th c stays or early Victorian corsetry.  Also this is what you need to bone your costume bodices and tops with.

It can be cut with scissors and filed with a regular emery board.  It's very easy and quick to use making it ideal for starter corsets and novelty costumes.

This synthetic whalebone will provide medium support in corsets and firmer support in bodices and where you need to bone period clothing which is going over a corset, a jacket for instance. 

Also very suitable for swimwear as it is completely waterproof!
