Sateen coutil - Sand

Superior quality, hard wearing, thick sateen coutil fabric for corsetry which has a very subtle sheen.  This corsetry coutil is very sturdy and very thick, yet it is soft to the touch and beautifuly elegant.  This coutil perfect for making a single layer corset or for use as a strength layer with fashion fabric.  It is very similar to the sateen coutil I have seen in antique corsetry.

Morrocan sand is the name we give to the colour of this coutil as it is less of a nude colour and more of a 'pink' sandy colour - exactly like the sandy buildings found in Morocco.  It is extremely hard to capture the colour accurately on film - samples are available here.

This sateen coutil is very heavy weighing approx 600g per metre.
