Based on an original pattern found in a 1913 issue of a Dutch magazine similar to Harpers Bazzar. This late Edwardian corset is perfect for wear under 1909-1916 style dresses and skirts. It will provide the long smooth hipline, and flat front required for the slim front skirts of this era.
There are two height variations in this corset pattern. The low bust which comes to just under the bust - suitable for 1912-1916 styles, and the high bust, which is more of a mid-full bust support and suitable for the 1909-1912 sillhouette.
In modern corsetry, these long line Edwardian corset patterns can easily be adapted to make corset dresses. This corset pattern also has cup sizing, making them easy to convert to longline overbust corsets.
