What do you sell?
- A variety of general sewing supplies including patterns, tools and haberdashery which are particularly handy for making corsets.
- Corsetry components including metal busks, continuous spiral wire boning, and cut length flat steel bones manufactured in Germany.
- Coutil fabric for corsetry, manufactured in Britain
- Fabric suitable for corsetry, bra making and underwear
- Trims and Sparkles to add 'vavavoom' to any creation.
- Corset kits aimed at beginner corsetiers which contain everything you need to make a victorian style, steel boned corset including patterns, fabric, metal components, trims and laces. Also, "kits without bits" incase you wish to use your own patterns or fabrics.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
I am pleased to offer a discount to corset makers and shop owners when I have surplus stock. These items will be posted in their category pages if and when available. ie: if you are buying spiral wire boning, discounted whole rolls will be placed in that category.
If any customer spends over £150 on separate bits and bobs, then I will refund 5% of your total purchase.
Payment and delivery
Accepted payment methods are Paypal, Sterling cheque, postal order, or bank transfer. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please email me.
Postage costs include packaging and handling.
Orders paid for electronically (via Paypal) are usually sent within 48 hours by first class mail.
Overseas orders must be paid via Paypal or bank transfer.
A fully boxed corset kit weighs somewhere between 700-1250g depending upon which kit it is, and if you have ordered any extras. I use the Royal Mail sliding scales to calculate cost on this site, and these can be viewed HERE under the "packet" category, or HERE for airmail.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes absolutely!! Many of my customers are not in the UK - I am very happy to ship overseas. Orders sent outside the UK are posted using Air Mail or courier depending on weight. Please see the Royal Mail sliding scales to calculate cost under the "packet" category HERE for airmail. If orders go above 8kg, it may be more economical to post by courier at approx GBP45.00
If you are shopping with a currency other than pounds sterling and paying with paypal, you can check the currency conversion rate by logging into your paypal account and searching for 'currency conversion'. Or just click HERE for an approximate guide.
Please note that Royal Mail international orders cannot be tracked due to the nature of postal services in different countries. In the unlikely event that your goods are not delivered, Sew Curvy cannot be held liable. If you would like to insure your shipment please contact me. The customer is be responsible for all customs duties, fees and/or taxes accrued when shipping outside the UK. Customs forms will be filled out with correct retail value and with an accurate description of the items bought.
Do you offer gift wrapping service?
Part of the Sew Curvy Philosophy is that every parcel is a present, be it for yourself or for somebody else. However, if you would like a card or extra wrapping for a special someone or occasion, please do let me know and I will be happy to provide this free of charge.
Do you offer a bespoke, corset making service?
