Corset making courses
Corset Making Courses and masterclasses are regularly scheduled at at the Sew Curvy Studio in Oxfordshire which is easily accessible by road via the A40 and only 5 miles away from Oxford. Set amongst beautiful and tranquil woodland, there is free parking, a range of lovely accommodations nearby. Lunch, refreshments and cake are provided on each day.

A three day corsetry course where students will fit and construct a multi layer underbust corset using a neat professional technique which gives a smooth finish on both sides without the need for a separate lining. In this corset making class you will learn all about how to effectivly use fashion fabric in corsetry, including how a corset works, the anatomy of a corset, suitable fabrics, turn of cloth, and fitting. Using a specially drafted Sew Curvy pattern, course attendees will come away with a beautiful, well crafted, shape altering garment which will be suitable for wear under or over clothes.
